We offer pre-orders to reserve a bag in advance of our upcoming product delivery, with the understanding that it will ship at a later date then when you purchase. Payment is due at the time of purchase, and you will receive a shipping notification once the order is on its way to you.

Once you’ve received your shipping confirmation email, you can track your package on the corresponding shipping carrier's website.

Oh no! We are happy to help with damaged items. Please email us pictures, a brief description of the damage, the order number, and your shipping information to hello@alisedesign.com. We will follow up with next steps as soon as possible. We'll determine the best resolution and may ask to see a product in person before making a decision. Please note that Alise Design is not responsible for normal wear and tear, such as staining or damaged leather due to use.

Shipping and Returns

We offer shipping via UPS Ground for orders shipping to the U.S., which takes 5-10 business days. You may also select UPS Expedited for an additional fee or select a different carrier and method at checkout. We ship internationally via DHL, UPS, and USPS. Alise Design is not responsible for lost items once items are delivered and/or signed for if required. Items ship within 3 - 5 business days. 

Alise Design accepts returns of unused product within 30 days of shipment.

Note: you are eligible for either return credit or a refund only after Alise Design receives the item and confirms that it is unused.

Once the order has been shipped, you may go online, log-in to your order history, and select "return item(s)."

From here, please select the item(s) that you would like to return, as well as the reason for return.

Then, you may select two different options:  

You may receive a full refund amount in Merchandise Credit and Alise Design will cover the return shipping. This Merchandise Credit will never expire. You may receive the amount refunded to your original payment method, less a $15 return shipping and administrative fee per.

After you have completed the return process online, please print the return label and return form.

Please pack items to be returned and return form inside an appropriate shipping box and seal.

Affix the return label to the outside of the box and drop off at your nearest FedEx location.

Your credit or refund will be applied within 3-8 business days upon receipt of your item(s).

At any point, you may check the status of your return online in your order history

We ship express to the following locations through DHL Express*

- Canada: Transit time is 2-4 business days (pending customs clearance): $25

- Asia/Oceania: Transit time is 2-4 business days (pending customs clearance): $45

- Europe: Transit time is 2-4 business days (pending customs clearance): $45

- South America: Transit time is 2-4 business days (pending customs clearance): $45

- Middle East/Africa: Transit time is 2-4 business days (pending customs clearance): $85

*Maximum cart total for Express shipments is $2,500 USD.

Orders shipped to any destination other than the US are final sale and exempt from returns.

Duties & Taxes: Import duties and taxes will be displayed with shipping charges at the time of checkout. If DDU (delivery duty unpaid) is an option for your country, it will display this with your available shipping options at the time of checkout. If you select a DDU service, you will be responsible for paying the duties and taxes to the carrier upon arrival of your package.

Order Processing: International orders will be packed and ready to ship within 1-2 business days of order placement. Business days are Mondays through Fridays, excluding holidays. International orders are subject to customs clearance, which may cause delays beyond provided delivery estimates.

Exchange Rates: Orders are paid in USD and the exchange rate will be calculated at time of purchase by the customer’s credit card processor. We are unable to offer adjustments for exchange rate changes. The exchange rate and international credit card fees will be dependent on the credit card that the customer is using.

Product Care

For light cleaning, we recommend washing your bag with a cloth, wet with warm water. You can also spot clean your Alise handbag with a leather cleaner, which can be purchased at a drug store or cobbler. Be sure to test products before applying to the whole bag. If you’d rather leave it to the professionals, a cobbler or other leather professional can deep clean your bag.

Our bags are 100% made in Italy, in the heart of Tuscany. They are made in the same factory where traditional luxury brands have made their product for years.

Vegetable tanning is an artisan tradition that the Tuscan tanneries have handed down from father to son  for centuries, mixing antique recipes and state-of-the-art technology. is an organic method relying on natural vegetable tannins from bark or other plant tissues. Tannins from trees such as oak, chestnut, or mimosa are popular, but hundreds of tree types and other plants are known to have been used in this method of leather tanning that historians have dated back to 6000 BC.

We only source leather from tanneries that are members of The Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium.
